I dreamed that I was woken up from my sleep by chanting. I walked into the kitchen and could hear the chanting coming from outside the dining room sliding door to the deck. When I walked to the door, I could see a circle of at least 20 elderly women sitting with their backs to the inside of the circle. I giggled for a second and tapped the glass. They seemed alarmed when they saw me so I waved hello. They sighed and laughed and waved back. I laid in the couch and listened to them from the living room. I heard them talking about how I’ll be a great host, how I look strong and how my head will have to be shaved. As they chatted more I became scared and went to the bedroom to wake up my husband. I woke him up and told him that there’s a group of witches outside. He didn’t believe me at first but then he heard them start chanting again. I realized my pillows were missing so I knew they already had gotten inside. My husband got up, looked towards the sliding door from the kitchen and saw them. We went back to the bedroom, locked the door and started discussing an escape plan. I realized I had left my phone out in the kitchen and knew I couldn’t call the police. Then it dawned on me to escape through the window. I started waking up as I was thinking of a plan to grab the truck keys or run to a neighbors.
This dream may suggest that you are feeling hesitant about some upcoming changes in your life. The chanting and circle of elderly women may represent a group of wise individuals who are offering guidance and support during this time of change. Your initial giggling and tapping on the glass may show a sense of curiosity and a desire to connect with this group, but their talk of shaving your head and taking control may be causing fear and uncertainty. This fear may be preventing you from taking action, as you search for a means of escape. Ultimately, this dream may be encouraging you to embrace change and seek out the wisdom and guidance of others. It may also indicate the need to confront your fears head-on and find ways to overcome them.
